'Nootka Rose' Garlic Bulbs

Nootka Rose is a softneck variety known for being one of the longest storing garlicas and it is great for braiding. Strong flavor with medium to large bulbs. Originated in the San Jaun Islands of Washington State. 

 

Sun preference: Full sun

 

Spacing: 4-8" apart

 

Planting Depth: 1-2" deep

 

Harvest when the bottom 2-3 leaves brown and die back. Lay out harvested garlic out of direct sunlight with good air circulation for about two weeks to cure.
